Privacy Policy

Private wardrobe, clear answers.

Effective September 7, 2026

OOTD is designed around local-first wardrobe storage. This policy explains what information the app uses, where images are stored, and how AI features and subscriptions work.

Information you provide

OOTD lets you add wardrobe photos, a profile photo, a full-body mirror selfie, and basic profile details such as name, gender, age, and height. You choose which images and details to provide.

How images are stored

Wardrobe photos, cleaned clothing images, profile photos, avatar images, and saved outfit images are stored in OOTD's private app storage on your device. OOTD does not maintain a cloud wardrobe of these images. Images can be lost if you delete the app, erase app data, or move to a new device without restoring a device backup.

AI image processing

When you request an AI result, OOTD temporarily sends the selected image data to Google Gemini through the app's secure service connection. This is used only to generate the requested clothing cleanup, avatar, or outfit try-on result. The resulting image is saved locally on your device.

Purchases and RevenueCat

OOTD uses Apple in-app purchase infrastructure and RevenueCat to manage OOTD Pro subscription status. Purchase records may include transaction information, subscription status, and an anonymous app-user identifier. OOTD does not receive your Apple ID password or full payment-card details.

What OOTD does not do

  • OOTD does not require a user account.
  • OOTD does not sell your personal information.
  • OOTD does not use your photos for advertising or cross-app tracking.
  • OOTD does not intentionally collect contact lists, precise location, health data, or message content.

Your choices

You can delete individual wardrobe items, saved fits, profile images, or your AI avatar inside OOTD. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting OOTD removes the app's local storage from the device, subject to Apple's backup and deletion behavior.

Third-party services

OOTD relies on Google Gemini for requested AI image processing, Apple for App Store distribution and subscriptions, and RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy terms.
